The Graveyards
The track into the blazing desert was long and exhausting. Despair started to surface among your travelling companions. The ancient map you bought in the antiquary back in the capital promised great riches in a graveyard. But for how long will the motivation of riches convince the others to push on? Finally, structures of sorts dawn on the horizon. Your enthousiasm is replaced by awe and fear as you discover what the map meant by graveyard. Hundreds of massive beastial skeletons litter this site. Aquatic creatures? The mystery of this place only grows as you spot fresh small footsteps in the sand. It seems you are not the first to discover this place.
Desert Fish Skull
The Desert Fish Skull pop-up is a great piece to play out a desert encounter. Use it as the lair of a sand cyclops, the entrance to a hidden temple, or the location of a suspiciously convenient icecream merchant. It’s a fun set piece to spice up a trek through the desert!
